In Astrology, there are total 9 planets; Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. These navagraha’s play a very important role in the calculations made by Vedic Astrology. Western Astrology additionally incorporates three other outer divine bodies namely Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, which are noticeable only through telescope. This is the reason why these bodies were not taken in to consideration in Vedic astrology as there was no telescopes that time. Here are some characteristics of these Celestial Bodies

1)      Uranus - Astrologers see Uranus as the significator of new discoveries, explosions, disruptions and unexpected events. Uranus is the planet of individual liberty, it represents freedom. The position of Uranus in horoscope indicates how unexpected changes and surprises are most likely to be tackled. Uranus brings with it a new approach and a new way of looking at things. It is also regarded as the planet of change, planet of awakening, surprises and it regulates all humanitarian concerns and environmental issues.

2)      Neptune – Neptune, the planet of inspiration indicates the creative competency of a person. The house where Neptune is positioned in the horoscope indicates the area of life in which you experience disappointment or confusion. The negative indicators of Neptune include deception, drugs or alcohol addiction, guilt etc. Neptune has a musical and artistic sense and it is the planet of creative imagination. It indicates worry and tension rather than misfortune.

3)      Pluto – Pluto indicates motivation, power and transformation. It is the furthest planet in our solar system and is associated with the process of rebirth and reproduction. Pluto’s influence is both creative and destructive and it encourages transformation either negative or positive. It also influences natural disasters and earthquakes and on the other hand, it gives people the chance to reinvent themselves.
